We are in our early 60's and have been spoiled by being passengers on trips further than our local grocery store. When we decided to move over 800 miles to a remote location, I knew I would have to make multiple trips as a driver. Ouch! I was so worried and my confidence was shattered. So my wonderful husband decided that we would buy some walkie talkies and after some research we bought them. They worked great and are so easy to use! No need to fiddle with your phone to chat, just press a button and speak. We've found that it's easier to hear the other person on the road if you hold the walkie-talkie close to your mouth. There were times when we had a crackle caused by someone else or heard other interactions, but that was rare. We could have several cars between us and still communicate easily. We could communicate when we weren't in each other's sight. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!
