UPDATE January 11, 2020 A severe storm in Texas hit the phone lines again. This kid saved our modem and phone. I returned to buy my third device. So now I can say that they have worked for us twice. I highly recommend it. ORIGINAL REVIEW An item that you buy and hope you never use. Our property was struck twice by lightning in 2018. We blasted an electric phone and 2 modems/routers. So we finally got smart and protected everything from overvoltage. All of our outbursts have come over phone lines. Guess what? Today we had the third increase in phone lines in a year. We were told by our phone/internet provider that this little device does the job. It saved our phone and modem. But the splash was big enough, it killed the protective part of the phone. Well, I'm here to say that if I buy another one of these, it works and does the job!
