Period. 144Hz is a huge step up from 60Hz or 75Hz, and the difference is huge when you're playing a game where you can hit 144fps or more. noticeable when upgrading to 27 inches. I'd say this is perfect for those sitting at a medium to long distance from their monitor. 1440p is a great fit for 27 inches. It has more ppi (pixels per inch) than the 24-inch 1080p and again the difference is noticeable, especially when reading text. The curved screen isn't something I thought I'd be a fan of, but after a while I prefer it to the flat screen. While some people might disagree with me, I'm more comfortable surfing the web or watching videos on a curved display. However, I hardly notice anything when playing. The stand that this monitor comes with is great. Even the MSI monitor, which is $80 more expensive than this one with similar specs, doesn't come with a height-adjustable stand. All in all, this is a fantastic deal for a monitor that typically costs over $300.
