I keep my document folders in stacks of letter trays. The plastic trays I tried are fragile and unstable. So I got these lattice boxes. They stack on top of each other and are strong, but slip and slide on top of each other. When you reach for a tray to grab a folder, you can slide the tray onto it. The device that is supposed to hold them in place is not working properly. I used wire to secure the corners of each stack. Now they work fine. Strong, stable and holds as much weight as possible. If the makers of these tablets would invent a better system for connecting, the tablets would be a five star product. I took off two stars because I had to find a solution. Doesn't look very elegant, but serves its purpose.
