Very cheaply made for home decor

The description currently says it's 'iron' but if it is it's the cheapest and thinnest iron I've ever laid my hands on. The box is quite large and I was really surprised at how light it was when I picked it up. At first glance I was afraid it might be plastic. I'm assuming it's actually aluminum, but I can't confirm that. Also, keep in mind that it's actually dark brown, not black. It works and looks good, but keep in mind how cheaply it's made and how flimsy it is when you're comparing purchases.
