As good as any tester with no load. the bluetooth works even with my shocks plugged in, can check the battery and listen to the radio. It stores data for each block or tag so it is useful to start and stop a battery test/test and an alternator test. Wouldn't judge any component based on this device. Most testers will fail with a good low battery. Charge them carefully for a day or two and then check them out. If it doesn't hold a charge after a few days on the charger. Then dispose of it.
