So far, so good. accepts power strips and surge protectors

other speakers throughout the home. It didn't help. So my search for troubleshooting continues. However, we have many computers, stereos, and home automation devices in our home that we wanted to protect from power surges. This surge protective device (SPD) appears to be top-notch for home use and is likely to be more commonly used in commercial buildings. This model is equipped with a pulse counter. A month later, the counter showed that there was an increase. Therefore, it definitely plays an important role in protecting our gear. The only potential downside to this model is that noise filtering is not attenuated to avoid attenuating the transmission of power line signals such as ethernet-over-powerline and home automation signals. Before purchasing this model, I called Leviton Technical Support and none of the reps could tell me the difference between this model and the two that were supposedly designed to work with home automation alarms (the reps just read the same datasheets that are on the Are available). web) on the Leviton website). --Pooh!). So I bought this model that offers maximum surge protection and noise filtering. I haven't done extensive AB testing, but it appears to have had an impact on home automation signals. So I had to spend a lot of money to improve the reliability of the home automation network. Now that all this work is done, we have excellent protection for the whole house.
