Comparing my old SP pants to the new SP pants Too tight/ too small

In the pictures, My old (South Pole) pants are between the two new pairs. Look at the differences in the leg width. The new pants are supposed to be loose/relaxed fit as are my old pants however, when I tried them on I could not bend my legs or sit down, as the legs are way to thin and the crouch and back side were non existent. I'm a full grown man 5'10" , 180lbs or 81.6466kg and fit a 34"Wx32L comfortably, yet the new pants seems as if they were meant for someone who is weighing between 125lbs/130lbs with very thin legs, no back side or crouch; or did a tall female model for these pants? I don't know, but something went wrong here. The 34" waste was not a problem, but what happened to the rest of the pants?! Loose/relaxed fit? LOL! There's not even enough material to account for shrinkage from washing/drying. Too bad I really like South pole jeans.

Pros
  • Every day wear
Cons
  • The Fit Can Be Too Tight In The Thighs Or Calves
