Slightly loose on Nissan 350Z

Replaced my old California car cover with this one. The CA cover was much thicker, but after a few years it became brittle and I punched holes in it just by removing it. The CA cap fitted much better, but the elastic failed over time. This shell of classic accessories feels thin and a bit "crispy". It doesn't have enough paint protection on the inside, but it does, or at least enough that I don't mind using a coating. Let's see how much dust this lets through as my CA cap would have left extra fine sludge if the car had sat for a few weeks. I would say that the quality matches the price. I bought the "sedan 176" - 190"l" model. My Nissan 350Z is a bit loose (see photo) and won't hold up in the wind without a bungee cord or something to secure it. It fits my modest spoiler with no problem. I use a long bungee cord and it's ok. The antenna sleeve is unusable. It should be applied like a sticker, but it's useless. Maybe I'll sew it by hand. The door sipper doesn't fit my door at all, and with the panel attached, the zippered valve is utterly useless. Tip: To use a 3 foot bungee, take a small piece of string or shoelace and hook it on one end. bungee While holding the rope, throw the bungee under the car to the other side. Attach the bungee to the car on the other side and go back to get the loose end with the rope attached. UPDATE 33 months later: The finish has deteriorated significantly after many, many days in the sun. The brittle coating on the outside of the lid came off a few months ago. The lid also leaks a significant amount of fine silt, as I mentioned my California car lid. I've added more photos of the current condition. Would I buy this again? Maybe, maybe not. Both lids that I have had in different price ranges have the same problems. As for the price, maybe this coverage still makes sense? A few notes on the environment this shell was in. I live about 1/2 mile from the main road so there is a lot of dust in the air. Over time, it settles on the lid. Also, my home is in an area where most seasons except summer have a lot of moisture in the air that condenses on the horizontal surfaces of the car and the coating. During the morning hours the sun evaporates this moisture, but many, many cycles of it seem to be taking their toll. I mostly ride my motorbike so my car stays covered 90% of the year, but I take it off when it rains because mud collects on the paintwork.
