I cannot speak to longevity just yet, however the set was easy to assemble, it only came with the exact amount of screws needed for the job, so when we lost one, I had to go buy more to finish the table. My husband 6'2 over 200, sat on the chair for a few hours and said it was comfortable. Fit with plenty of additional space left in a 6×8 area. And they look wonderful. I got pillows because I feel like you'd want some cushion for your back if you sit for a while. Otherwise a great set.
