Review on Enhance Illumination with GE Lighting 72275 GE232 MV N Fluorescent by Ryo Flora

I bought 4 of these units and installed them. They are affordable, installation instructions are printed on the ballast, you need 3 plugs to reconnect the new ballast's two blue and one red wires to the fluorescent socket wires. Assembling the stairs takes about 15 minutes, turn off the lights, remove the clear plastic cover, take out the lightbulbs (if you do it carefully you can only replace one lightbulb), remove the metal cover by pressing the long sides towards the center so that the sides of the cover coming out, cut the 2 blue and 1 red wires with wire cutters, remove the caps from the black and white wires connecting the old ballast to the power wires, remove the ends of the 2 blue and 1 red wire to wire to expose the bare wire, remove the screw, hold the burned ballast, and pull the ballast out of the slot, install a new ballast and reinsert the screw that secures the ballast, close the five colored wires that were cut. Connect same colored wires to new ballast and secure connections with screw caps, reinstall metal cover, replace bulb(s), turn on light to check quality of connections, reinstall plastic cover, remove leads.
