Perfectly converted old T12 light fitting

These ballasts are perfect for converting old 4ft T12 fluorescent lamps to two T8 filament lamps. Pay attention to the wiring diagram on the ballast itself and make sure your light outlets (called tombstones) are jumpered. You can bridge unbridged headstones yourself with a short piece of insulated wire running sideways, or buy bridged replacements.

But works fine. electric

Used to replace my original T8F32 single lamp ballast in counter lighting. The only flaw I've found with this device is that I don't think it's an 'instant boot'. The lamp turns on after about 1/2 second, whereas the original ballast in this light started the lamp the moment the switch was pushed. I think it's about how you define "instant". Otherwise the unit looks well made and is clearly labeled for easy installation.

These were purchased to replace some of the terribly unreliable ballasts in some lights purchased from Big Box Depot. I like the simple wiring in this ballast. The ballasts they replaced used 6 wires to two lamps. You use 3 wires to two lamps. I like the fact that the failure of one bulb does not cause the second bulb to not light. They're quiet enough that I can't hear them, which is good. The length of the wires is sufficient. I could give them 5 stars if the "instant start" claim was spot…

Authorized conversion of 24 " T8 F17 to LED bulb

Worked well for my needs which consisted of converting a 24" T8 F17 2 bulb fluorescent to LED bulbs. For some reason this thing is twice the size of the old ballast. But it still fit in the standard grooves of the mounting case, I just had to attach it to a new location. All these "efficiency" mods are like squeezing a balloon. Some become more efficient and some become less. By the way, if you're buying this for the same reason I am - new ones Use LED bulbs - make sure the bulbs and ballast…

Turn on light to verify connections are correct, replace plastic cover

I bought 4 of these units and installed them. They are affordable, installation instructions are printed on the ballast, you need 3 plugs to reconnect the new ballast's two blue and one red wires to the fluorescent socket wires. Assembling the stairs takes about 15 minutes, turn off the lights, remove the clear plastic cover, take out the lightbulbs (if you do it carefully you can only replace one lightbulb), remove the metal cover by pressing the long sides towards the center so that the sides
