Review on Polk Audio DB652 Ultramarine Speakers by Brian Weese

Product was delivered on time as promised. I used to have Polk speakers and was very happy with them, so I needed some for my old 2001 Silverado pickup. I had to do a bit of drilling to install them, but otherwise the installation was easy. They are said to be very resistant to water and dirt and this truck is indeed a work truck so I liked it. They're very thin, and the tweeter doesn't protrude behind the factory grille. Runs them off a Kenwood 25 x 4 head unit. On first hearing I thought they were a bit flimsy, but I ran them for a couple of hours while working in the garage and the difference was noticeable once broken in. They are very crisp and clear and the vocals are very distinct, the bass was very weak initially but after a couple of hours of hiatus they sounded like a different speaker, a lot more bass and the clarity in the highs was a little less but still. very good.
