Thin, soft aluminum
Bought kx 100 for my daughter One of the lightest bikes, weighs 170 pounds. We rode the trails and she flipped a few times. They are so soft they always bend and then the arms start to come into contact with them, then I have to remove them, straighten them and reinstall them. They look nice but rubbish. I do not recommend.
