I like to think ahead. I would honestly tell you not to waste your time with smaller cables. This applies to any Cat8 Ethernet cable from anywhere in the world. While you won't completely limit your speed with this cable, it prepares you to use Ethernet in any environment, from the slowest speeds to speeds found in commercial enterprise environments. With this cable, you don't have to ask for anything, and chances are you'll never need to replace it. Enough said. I am 100% satisfied with this product.
