The funniest thing: Wow, I'm glad I read a few reviews before throwing the box or I wouldn't have noticed the magnetic button, although he is over 2.5 inches wide. Anyway, I took it out of the box, it's felt on one side and stainless steel on the other, and it does a great job of keeping an opener in the fridge. Pros: It opens a bottle of beer with one click and its end is only 3.5 inches long. to the end, making it ideal as a keychain for emergencies. No, not a beer emergency, but if you're around a woman who wants wine and there's no bottle opener, at least that's a survival prayer. Which brings me to... The Bad: As an opener this couldn't be worse. Yes you can pop the cork with it, but the ring is big enough for only 3 fingers and you really have to pull to pop the corks. Be prepared for pain in your fingers. But even then the cork is too short, so you're usually lucky if you get half the cork out. But as said, for an emergency survival tool, a woman who wants wine will be impressed that you have an opener and what you will do to make it work.
