I have a Celestron Powerseeker 127EQ. The telescope comes standard with 20mm, 4mm and 3x Barlow lenses. because of the small entrance. However, when combined with 3x Barlow magnification, 4mm pushes the 127mm aperture to its absolute limit. Perhaps the accessory kit provides a better choice of lenses for my telescope as they don't get as close to the scope's magnification limit and are higher quality lenses than the ones that came with the telescope. The blue filter and moon are also quite useful, but the red filter makes the image very dark and works better with a larger lens, such as the 15mm included in the kit. I live in a small rural town, so I suspect light pollution is also a factor. roll here. I personally wish I had bought this kit at the same time as the telescope. This kit is a must have for the beginner starting out with the small aperture Celestron telescope. The kit even includes a very nice outfit with a logo for the lenses. What I can suggest is that these two lenses were not standard on the Powerseeker 127EQ instead of 20 and 4mm. crazy low price they offer.
