Although marked as a K40 replacement on the Cloudray website, it does not fit directly. The first mirror mount is too high and will require a complete reinstallation of the laser tube to adjust to the new height. The second mount works well for a straight fit. The laser head requires a special mounting plate as it is longer and has a different diameter than the standard K40 head. The new head will also reduce Z depth by 10mm. Aside from the poor description of the K40 setup, the parts are well made and made of good material. After installing the mirror, alignment became much easier than with standard mirror heads. A note on the need for a special mounting plate for the head and/or a warning that the parts don't fit directly would be nice. Update: I have been contacted by the seller and offered to correct the misunderstanding and update the description to say that this item is compatible with K40 type lasers but is not a direct screw replacement.
