This is a high quality vertical grill or oven accessory for Shawarma, Al Pastor, Gyroscope, etc. It is very durable and made of thick metal. The spikes are tightly twisted. The spike bushing is only welded to the base, but it still holds up. One complaint is that the steel plates are stamped from stainless steel sheet and have sharp cut edges. It took about 10 minutes to smooth with a file. The raw edges would definitely cut you. I believe stainless steel is 304 as it is not magnetic but time will tell how it holds up. The addition of a second small plate to keep the meat off the base makes it a step up over other cheaper units.
