Review on LG 24UD58 B: 24 Inch Monitor with FreeSync, HDMI, and 60Hz Refresh Rate - Best Buy by Dan Harriger

Magnum, PPI is good for me

So I'm not proud of this title, but let's move on. Like others here, I've been spoiled by Apple's Retina displays. But I wanted to use something with my PC that doesn't just make me sad compared to my 5K iMac. I first bought a 32" LG 4K monitor. LOVE the huge size. But my eyes don't like the resolution that much. Then I bought a 27" Dell 4K. Getting better. There was a time I would have loved that screen - before I experienced the retina. So I finally found I had to sacrifice size to get this. yes it helps Surprisingly, even with my crappy eyesight, you can really see the difference between 140ppi, 163ppi and 186ppi on this monitor. It makes my eyes feel like they're on vacation while other monitors still get them working. There are many 27-, 28-, 32- and even 43-inch 4K monitors out there, but as far as I can tell, this may be the ONLY 24-inch 4K monitor currently in production. It's about quality, not quantity, folks. People on the Mac side understand that -- but maybe only because Apple has made an effort to educate people since retina displays appeared on the iPhone 4. In fact, I'm almost worried that something will happen to this monitor and it will be difficult to replace since all 24-inch 4K monitors are being discontinued. If you work a lot with photos and videos now, you might need something more. But if you are a writer, this is to die for. You can always adjust the font size if you want more. But the sharpness of the text more than makes up for the smaller size.
