Tons of heat in heaters

Let me start by saying that the description of room size on the Revain list is wrong. It is listed as suitable for 250 square meters. The manufacturer's specifications indicate an area of 144 square meters. ft. 144 sq. ft makes this approximately 5000 BTUs heater suitable for a small to medium sized room (approximately 15 x 20 feet). This device draws approximately 12.5A in high mode (1500W). Of course it is possible to burn an outlet if an extension cord is used (not recommended). Remember that most outlets are 15 amps and will overload if multiple devices are plugged into the same outlet as the heater. If you NEED to use an extension cord I wouldn't use anything over 10 feet and is rated for at least 15 AMP (10 gauge) of power. For the past few days I've been running the heater on full blast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and haven't had any issues with odors or unusual noises. Of course we hear the thermostat clicking, but it's barely audible. My wife is a very light sleeper and doesn't mind at all in our tiny bedroom. I suspect that the unusually loud crackle/crackle that many complain about is due to either poor panel assembly or poorly manufactured and machined metal components that "excessively" expand and contract during heat and cool cycles and these cause annoying noises. . That's the same annoying noise you hear from under your car as the catalytic converter's heat shields expand. I've had a trillion (probably) radiant heaters in the last 20 years and I've learned that a properly fitted radiant heater will run very quietly, but be aware that ALL radiant heaters will pop/crackle a bit on cold start but should go away after that full warm-up. So far my device is fine. I will definitely report any problems. UPDATE: This heater is awesome! We live in a 100 year old building which is very drafty and keeping it comfortably warm this winter has been a challenge. Our annual winter routine is to open cold curtains and seal the windows. This year we also added this heater and were very surprised by its warmth. This is a really powerful punch for a small size. I can't say yet how this will affect our electricity bill. It dries the air, but that's to be expected on high settings. We start the humidifier. I hope this item will last a few years. A NOTICE. The photos were taken on a 27 degree day with a ajar window in a 12x12 room. A heater wasn't required, but I wanted to check the accuracy of the thermostat. Sometimes my house thermostat reads +/- 1 degree
