As mentioned in many reviews, these socks are thin. They are also tight at first, which makes toes sweat, feet get either hot or cold. but after a few wears they loosen up (still fit well) and then they're really good - cool when they're supposed to be and warm when they're supposed to be. and after walking around the house in them for several months, I just recently had a hook that led to a small hole in my ankle. This is quite surprising as I live in an old loft with rough floors that regularly take out the bottoms of much thicker socks. I originally bought green ones, and after many months just this little hole (and the sock itself is still strong, they don't fall apart. I went for blue ones, they seem to be thinner, and one has a little hole (again , on the ankle, not on the sole from wearing ). only wore them for a few weeks, let's see how they hold up, but they are still nice socks and feel very good.
