Great product! After reading countless reviews, it seems like every converter has its pros and cons, but this one always tops the list. I ended up getting this to convert all my parents old slides from the 1970s to digital and I've gone through eight full carousels at the time of writing and they were given to my parents as a Christmas present. Needless to say, they were shocked and seeing them on TV and computer screens brought back memories. The quality is amazing and more or less depends on the quality of the original slides themselves. After an hour or two of getting used to how it works, you can convert your slides pretty quickly, and it's oddly a lot of fun. I can't recommend it highly enough. I have yet to test it on real film negatives but for slides it works as advertised and comes highly recommended.
