As of August 21st, we have had these for a week now. If they let us down I'll edit the review but so far it's really GREAT. In the last two years I've bought other kids headphones for my two kids (for school and home) and they kept breaking, probably because the cable is vinyl and easily damaged. One earphone always failed after a few weeks. These older models also had foam ear pads, which always start to tear after a while. This particular brand and style I'm reviewing has many advantages, but so far I can't cite them as disadvantages. First, the nylon cord is excellent and durable. It's long (that can be an issue for younger kids) but it's perfect for my 6 and 9 year olds. The sound quality is great for kids. This model does not have noise cancellation, but these headphones are not a high-tech product with stereo sound. The volume is normal and not too loud for small ears. The ear pads are very soft like our kids had in the 1970s/1980s. Adjustable and comfortable easy-to-stow cord loops. The pink color I bought here is beautiful, the child likes it very much. Very satisfied. The price is great. If your kid ruins the headphones in any way, at least you won't lose much in cost. All in all, I highly recommend them. Good product!
