This year we had a serious problem with our air conditioner. The switch trips at least once a day, and catching it makes it easier to keep the ambient heat in the house at the right temperature. Now that I have the idea that the breaker is blown I can just shoot it in the vent and see. This item is easy to use. I had to scan the instructions quickly, but if I can do it, anyone can. I confess to playing with it and checking the temp on pavement, grass etc and it's pretty damn accurate! My husband wants to take it to work so hopefully this air conditioning trial is over and he can steal it from me.
