I bought these parts because they look like the legendary and rare Aldi parts that Paul Sellers is touting. Quality seems good for 3 out of 4 bits. All ridges appear flat or concave after several passes over a rough diamond plate. It's good. Handles are really hornbeam. It's good too. The blades appear to be heavier and thicker than some of the other budget chisels sold here. They are more like heavier chisels and should take a beating with a hammer. The bad news is that the 1-inch chisel's handle is bent out of line with the blade, making it awkward to hold. Not sure if the shank is bent or if the pilot hole isn't drilled parallel. If it wasn't for this problem the rating would be 5 stars. Update: I removed the handle from the blade (friction landing). There is a slight bend in the shaft. I carved a relief cut in the hole in the handle, epoxyed the blade back into the handle, and now the handle lines up with the blade. The problem appears to have been resolved.
