Great robe!: Sleep & Lounge

This robe replaces the very soft quality robe my wife bought for me from Macy's years ago. After wearing it I searched for the Macy's brand but they no longer have that quality of men's terry cloth robes. I have searched a lot on the internet for bathrobes and after reading many reviews I decided on this one as the Arus brand has always had good reviews. Some other online stores also sell this Arus robe but not all list the manufacturer. The giveaway though is that they use the same photos as on Revain and on the Arus site and by zooming in on one site I was able to read the Arus label. This is an amazing robe. The sleeves are a little big, which fits me well. It's a little longer than my Maisie robe, which is actually a plus. The picture is accurate. Length - goes about halfway between knee and ankle (I'm 5ft 11in). Even after reading all the reviews I was still surprised at the weight of the bathrobe. Very cool! good substitute for weight 5# ;-)). Lots of lint on first wash/dry but same thing happened to my Macy's robe and it wasn't a problem. I don't expect this to be a problem. The problem with this robe is that it's so thick. My Macy's robe was from India and was a little softer when it finally wore it, but it has worn down through years of washing. I believe this Arus bathrobe will be just as soft or softer after a few washes. Even if this is not the case, I am still very satisfied with its softness. The width is great. I have a 38" waist and it overlaps about 12" (6") on each side past my belly button. The belt is very thick and holds up well with just a tie. It was well packaged and in a strong clear plastic bag packaged with no holes or tears Conclusion: I love it and recommend it enthusiastically.
