For those wondering if the tunnels are big enough for a Syrian hamster or a fatter hamster, yes! They're larger than the Kaytee tunnels, but there are a few issues with them. They are not compatible with Kaytee cages or the rubber mounts on the ends are very loose. The plastic tips don't fit the holes in the Kaytee cages, but I managed to get in with some effort. They can mate with Kaytee tunnels, but there is some play (a bit loose) between the pieces. The tunnels themselves diverge in length with no rubber mount attached to one side of the hole. It's easy to clean, but problems can arise when trying to reattach everything to the cage. Overall I like it because it's important for my hamster to move around in his tunnels and they don't fall apart while my hamster is using them. It's a little difficult to work with, but it's what I need for my hamster. However, there should be improvements for these tunnels, they are good tunnels but difficult to manage.
