Review on Valterra A10 3348VP Black Rotating Register by Devin Jenkins

I have a 35,000 BTU convection oven in my RV. I wanted to replace the thermal registers as they were showing their age. I bought three of these Valterra A10-3346VP tan registers with rotary heater and air conditioning (4 inch). They worked great on the two longer routes. Unfortunately, one of the registers is within 12 inches of the oven. When the oven is running, there is a smell of melting plastic (actually, plastic doesn't melt). I thought after a few uses the smell would go away. no After a few weeks of use, it's obvious that it's getting too hot and producing a plastic smell. I decided to replace this register with a metal register. The other two, further away from the oven, are fine. Overall I think this is a good product. to bake.
