I bought this as a beach towel 2 years ago and can honestly say it's one of the best purchases I have ever made. It's super lightweight, fast-drying, and absorbent. I have beautiful, thick, expensive bath towels that I love too, but I find I reach for this microfiber beach towel after a shower instead because it's so convenient. It never gets stinky so it only needs to be washed every week or so and that makes laundry much easier. I have less laundry, and what I have dries faster. Even though it's huge, it's also very lightweight and doesn't fall off when I walk around after my shower. It hardly feels like anything at all. I just bought a 2nd one today.
