Don't Buy Until You Read This! Returning

Bought on a lightning deal and didn't realize it was microfiber and not cotton. I wanted a new gray comforter. I have two cotton blankets that I have used for many years with no problems. I've read about microfiber sheets that don't wrinkle and only complained that they were too warm. So I unwrapped this blanket and washed it in cold water to smooth out the wrinkles. The duvet came out of the dryer in the form of a ball (lowest temperature and air). My cotton never did that. After unpacking, there were almost no creases left. The real problem came when I put my duvet inside. Microfiber is much "smoother" than cotton and therefore the blanket is very difficult to fit into. Even with the four corners tied together, as soon as I moved it to slightly align it on the bed, the comforter slipped inside the comforter and shifted because its center slipped off the top seam of the comforter. After moving it, which wasn't easy, I pulled the duvet back as if going to bed and again the duvet slipped out of position and I stayed a foot or more from the top of the duvet, even with that bound corners. I have used twin cotton duvets and duvet covers for years and have NEVER had this problem. Rarely used square ties. The blanket and the cotton blanket moved as one. Microfiber can be great for buffing rags, maybe good for sheets, but for duvet covers it's utter nonsense in my opinion.
