Review on 🧻 Seventh Generation Bath Tissue - 100% Recycled Paper, 4 Rolls (Packaging May Vary) by Jenny Davis

What happened to the seventh generation? Quality is gone

The seventh generation used to be the my GoTo brand of toilet paper and paper towels. But the current version of the substance is completely useless. It decomposes on contact with moisture; Even with double (4 layers) or triple use, it tears, wears out, leaves fluff on you and doesn't do its job with a bang. The "quilted" embossing texture is a prop: it just makes the buns thicker, "fluffier," and easier to tear. The perforations are hard to see and half the time they don't tear cleanly, leaving chunks and shreds instead of a clean tear. Almost every other roll starts with 2-3 yards of unusable fabric because the end is glued through several layers and for some reason 2 layers are misaligned by a few inches so that the perforation breaks and the other just tears between the perforations. Finally, some flavor is added to the cardboard tube. Paper towels have similar issues (separate review) and I will not be buying 7th gen napkins or towels again.

Pros
  • Made from 100% recycled paper and made with no dyes, inks or fragrances
