I installed this battery into my mac for 1 month when I wrote this review: Before my mac at 100% charge would only keep a charge for 30-40 minutes. Now with the new battery I get close to 5 hours of use before I need to recharge. I've had no issues, everything works normally.One important thing to note is that when you install any new battery into any device is you should calibrate it to your computer. You should look it up online for specific but generally you need to fully charge your to 100% and continue to charge for 2 hours then unplug the charger and use your computer without recharging until your computer gets to 1-5% and falls asleep. Leave your computer uncharged for 5 hours. After 5 hours charge it back up to 100%. Then the calibration is done. This helps your computer know the limits of your new battery and properly understand the actual charge of the battery. Otherwise your computer might get confused and your computer could shut down even though it might say 40% or something. This is usually done by manufactures/tech support but if your installing this yourself this is something you should do.
