In Skype, it is detected without problems, but the picture is a little more blurry than the original one from the camera. Exposure is automatic - generally adequate. If the face is close to the camera, then everything is generally fine, but if you move further away in a not very well-lit room, then the exposure is adjusted to the average and the face turns out to be too dark. Reminds me of a cell phone camera. In the dark (only the light of the monitor) it seems that some kind of "noise reduction" starts to work - the effective resolution decreases, but the image remains digestible, without terrible noises. In general, an adequate camera for chatting in Skype.
