Turntable set. There were many good and bad reviews that needed filtering out, including some bad reviews showing plates cracked or chipped in certain spots from microwave heat. Most of the bad reviews are from 4-5 years ago and this particular set is a new model of cookware so I thought I'd give it a try as I thought Gibson had improved their products. You will be glad to know, dear reader, that they are amazing. . There were no chips or discoloration. Nothing was broken and it was packaged well. I think you will be impressed with the quality. Plates, bowls and coffee cups have fantastically smooth surfaces and you have to run your fingers over them to see what I mean. It really feels like a premium set. What I like best is that the plates are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. They're printed on the bottom of the plates in case you need proof. I tested these plates in all three areas and nothing went wrong. Very impressive. For the price of this set it is aesthetically worth it and I hope you find this set to be a good fit for you.
