Review on Xiaomi Redmi AirDots 3 CN Wireless Headphones, Blue by Ognian Dimitrov ᠌

You should not take it, it does not meet any standards.

After making my selection and making payment for 1k8 online, I received it the following day at a post office. While the ANC active noise reduction capability is advertised in the product description, it is unclear how to activate this feature from the included Chinese-only instructions. Internet searches produce contradictory results; some application is referenced, but it's unclear where it's taken; and yet, it seems more likely that this feature is not available for these particular headphones. One of the most important features for me is having access to this one. (By the way, the Prolike tnc07 headphones I used included instructions written in black and white in 2022 detailing how to manage it directly from the headphones, without installing programs; this is how it worked.) I don't need the "classmate" (voice assistant) that the instructions recommend installing, Xiao Yai. Everything is just in Chinese, so I closed my eyes and installed (it turned out to be Mi AI stated online). A mom figured out how to set it up with the help of screenshots, a translator, and other such tools. Only a double-tap may be programmed for each earbud, and no active noise cancellation is provided. I. According to advice from the Market's customer service, download the Dotdroid app, then open the "Gestures" menu and select the "Long press" option for the right or left module. Dotdroid is rated at 2.2 on Google Play. Attempting it was a risk I was willing to take. The application is flawed because it lacks a "gestures" section, a "long press" button, and an ANC option. There is no "my model" option or right/left earpiece toggle in the application menu, despite the fact that the device recognizes and accurately labels my model. Therefore, there are many squats, no logic, and no ANC. In all other respects, it functions as expected: the proximity sensor has never given me any trouble, I have no complaints about the quality of the sound, and so on. It seems I'll have to send it back.

Pros
  • freedom, headphones form factor, instantaneous link
Cons
  • Inconsistency (no ANC present)
