I have a 12.5 year old 62 lb boxer. She just can't jump anymore and I had back surgery and I can't lift her right now. I started using the ramp in the house so she could climb onto the bed or sofa. Yeah, I had to put a collar on her and pretty much get her up the ramp. On the 3rd night she walked without much effort and went down by herself! On day 5 I took her to the vet and used the ramp. She did great! The ramp feels very solid and easily attaches to the back of my crossover. It's too cool for her if I use it from behind, so I opened the back door for her to come in like that. Maybe I can try putting her on the back once she gets used to the ramp, but right now it's too steep. I am very satisfied and recommend this ramp!
