Stopped working in 8 months

Ordered this column less than a year ago (May 2017). Since then it has stopped working - when using the auxiliary cable, no sound comes out of the speaker. Bluetooth never worked. You definitely get what you pay for with this product. I was happy with the sound quality when it worked but I simply cannot recommend this product with an expected lifespan of less than a year.
