First of all, I have a 60 pound Australian Shepherd that I drive in my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited when we camp, camp out, or go to the dog park. Zeus gets very wet and dirty on most of these adventures, so he needs a hammock. He also likes to lean against the edges of the hammock, which puts a lot of strain on the materials. Got these to replace a brand name hammock that cost twice as much, wasn't nearly as good, and had fewer features. All seams are reinforced, all zippers feel very strong, and the material feels extremely water and tear resistant. The side flaps are a great addition, although I only leave them open to direct dirt and hair straight down for easier cleaning . This does a great job of keeping the hammock from sliding forward no matter how my 60 lb Aussie leans on it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
