As other reviewers have said, it's just like Alton Brown's - functionally at least. I love it so much I bought another one for my peppers. My only complaint is that my salt and pepper intake has increased significantly. Because of this, it's too easy to grab onto a pinch. Okay, it's not the product's fault, but still. In any case, this is a great product. I've had the first for a year or so and the second for a few months. Worth every penny. What I like is that the glass jar slides out so you can clean the chrome. It's pretty easy to get dirt on it.
