Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The "leather" on my stools has cracked and peeled over time, but the stools themselves are still in excellent condition. I appreciated their upholstery (too expensive) and bought and returned three sets of dining chair covers that just didn't fit my oversized chairs. Luckily they worked very well! They were able to completely cover my 5 inch thick plush chairs (I used a construction stapler) and gave them new life! The only reasons I took off a star are: 1) the material is very thin, which ends up not being a problem for me since I covered brown with brown, but it might be a problem for those who like other colors use, 2) the lids have a grooved design which turns out to be a crumb catcher, and 3) my kids don't like the fact that the material doesn't make them slide off the chair as easily as they used to (personal issues).
