In general, the console was able to live up to all of my anticipations. One reason for this is that the prices were reasonable. I took it with the hope that I would be able to play it in portable mode: when I was traveling or while I was waiting for a short length of time. I played in TV mode, removed it from the dock, and then continued to play further anywhere else. Everything is good in this situation. The game continues on in what is essentially a "seamless" fashion. I cannot recall a single instance in which the user was not required to take some kind of proactive step in order for the game to end on its own. My personal preference dictates that using the Joycons is an unpleasant experience; this problem may be remedied by using the Switch Pro in fixed mode, or any third-party controller holder in portable mode. However, there are two of them, and you may easily share one of them despite the fact that it may cause you some degree of trouble. In a broad sense, one of the things that is the most frustrating is switching or determining the active configuration of the joysticks. It is often just impossible to change it "on the fly" within the games itself; in those cases, you will need to go into the settings. The graphics in games are sufficient for the format of the system, and their quality typically depends on how well the game was ported. Obviously, there is not much room for seeing, but I suppose that something has to give, right? Anything other than a phone is OK. Regarding autonomy, I have no grounds for complaint. Up to this point, I have not found myself in a circumstance in which I have thought, "Oh, damn it, I'm discharged." But, once more, it's possible that this is just my personal rhythm of use: I don't sit with it for hours at a time, my sessions go anywhere from fifteen minutes to one and a half hours, and the console is stored in the dock. The prices that are listed for video games in the shop are, unsurprisingly, significantly inflated. And with discounts of 60–80 percent on non-exclusives, they can get close to the standard rates for games that are eligible for the same incentive. When it comes to exclusives, you obviously won't wait for price reductions. In a nutshell, this is a highly specialized tool meant to be used in particular circumstances. It will not take the place of "adult" consoles, but it performs what it is supposed to do and then some – at the time (at least until the introduction of the steam deck), there is no other fully functional alternative to it.
