
I don’t know who is to blame for this (Windows or CPU) (it seems like in the 13th generation of processors this got much better), but sometimes resource-intensive tasks (rendering, virtual machines) jump to E-cores. pressing Scroll Lock helps here (with the function of disabling E-cores on this button in the BIOS being previously enabled). sometimes this problem reaches the point of absurdity: for example, a virtual machine is running, it is minimized to tray, some resource-intensive task is running on it. the virtualka is transferred to E-kernels. at the same time, I use the browser and see that nothing is loading. I go to the task manager, and there all 4 E-cores are fully loaded, all the rest are idle. I press Scroll Lock - and everything sags in the same second, I continue to sit without small cores. well, with the exception of such specific tasks, everything is fine, fast, not hot.
