Review on πŸŒ™ Dream On Me Alice Olive Full Panel Convertible Mini Crib - 3-in-1 Design by Roberta Carlin

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not the best 3 in 1

I've had this crib for a while. My son is a year old and will soon need a crib instead of a crib so I was so excited to buy this one for him. Overall the cot is excellent and good quality but I can't give it a 5 because I think 3 in 1 is a bit misleading. As a first-time parent, I didn't realize you needed a separate railing when converting a crib. I started looking and found that no one makes them for mini cribs. If I want to sell what I dreamed of, I need to buy a splint and a support bar. Then I would have to cut the support bar to fit my son's crib. Now I wouldn't think it's such a big deal if I didn't have to shell out $80-90 for it. Reading the reviews years ago makes me think I should have started making railings to match their mini cribs a long time ago. I'm considering buying a railing but I think I'll end up buying a triangular one since the bar is attached and it's only about $50. Keep in mind that finding a railing for this crib to turn it into a toddler bed will not be easy. If you don't need extra security for your child then buy one, you can still use it with the front rail removed but if you prefer go for the full size cots which come with a full conversion kit. In the end it all adds up to a price. I only bought a smaller cot as I don't have a lot of space but I would have preferred a full size.
