We travel with our dog on paths where you have to keep your dog on a leash. Well, he loves to stay close to us, but we like to keep him on a leash when people walk past us to be polite. That thing makes it so easy! He weighs 23 pounds and it looks a bit big to him but it doesn't seem to bother him. It's nice to just grab the sling, pull out the leash and hold it for as long as needed. Much better than carrying around a leash that you don't use most of the time. My dog doesn't pull so I'm not sure how well he takes a lot of tugging - the leash is quite flimsy but could be strong for its size. Highly recommended for well behaved dogs!
