As regular travelers we travel the US and recently upgraded our Toad to a Jeep Cherokee. Jeep uses electric power steering to provide stability when towing. We also use the Even Brake Roadmaster for a toad that uses a lot of power. Without a charging cable from the van, the jeep's battery will be dead at the destination. So we needed a power line to power the jeep while towing. I routed an 8 gauge wire from the bus power plant to the rear and installed a quick disconnect connector to connect it to the jeep. You don't normally find 8 gauge fuse blocks in regular stores, so I ordered them. Installed it in our new RV today and got the perfect 30 amp output to drive anything in the jeep without worrying about dying the batteries. The jeep will never overload the charging line!
