I just bought this car to keep in the country. I've sewn my whole life. I had Viking and Pfaff. So I was spoiled with really good cars. After reading many negative reviews I was concerned about this car as I am so used to my pfaff. I'm glad I gave him a chance. Although I haven't done too much with it yet, it was immediately amazing. I'm amazed at how much he can really do. I'll be thrilled to have something I can leave here to just mend and topstitch. I'll keep my eyes peeled for things to get worse but so far I don't see anything that the negative reviews suggest. Tension seems to be an issue for some people, but adjusting the tension on the machine is only part of sewing. I'm just starting to sew a quilt and my adult daughter is also working on the project. We just want Tim Gunn to critique our work as this is a project career machine!
