This product bears the "Made in USA " imprint.
I purchased it as a replacement of the original mower belt (#405143 V-Belt) on my Craftsman Lawn Tractor (Model 917.289283). It turned out to be a perfect fit as it was the right length with the perfect cross section.Its price was a tad higher than on other online retailers but still acceptable given Best Buy's prime service.Installation was easy by following the path of the original belt and some help from the Craftsman's Owner Manual.The fact that it was manufactured in the USA was a definite plus.As a side note - vendors should always clearly indicate the country of origin of the products they offer.
- This belt replaces OEM works as it should would buy again
- Could cause damage to the mower deck if not installed correctly
