To cancel my contract with my cable tv provider and keep the discount, they added voice for free so I decided to connect a phone to it as the service would be active . The phone works, it doesn't look like junk, the screen is easy to read and the speakerphone seems loud enough to be useful. Maybe I would use this phone to call customer service, where I knew I would be waiting a long time, and switch it to speakerphone. , but I could use my phone for it, so I'll probably never use it. Address for you so I figure if I or anyone in my house is having a heart attack this is the number you need to call. It's funny reading other reviews here. It's almost a $30 throwaway phone with long range and signal security that people compare to their original Panasonic 900MHz 2.4GHz rugged phones that cost $200 in the 1990s. That kind of quality left the consumer market decades ago, and I doubt people complaining about that quality would be able to handle a modern, premium Cisco or Avaya cordless phone.
