Review on Powerbuilt 648612 42-Piece 4pc. Exhaust Tool Set Kit by Trey Crosland

I borrowed this kit from a major auto parts store. I had to widen the hole on my muffler (the exhaust pipe is rusted, the muffler is fine). I tried using this with a wrench but found I had to use a percussion gun to get the job done. A note: the entire expander must be inserted into the enlarged object - otherwise the tool will most likely break. Also, the drive screw is hardened, so you must be careful not to apply a bending moment to the screw when tightening it. (That's where a percussion gun comes in.) If you work with exhaust systems on a daily basis, this tool may not be for you. If you're a DIY enthusiast and only use it occasionally (and don't overuse it), it should last a lifetime. If you don't use it properly, it may break. It can break if misused. If you make money off exhaust fumes, get a hydraulic expander.
